  I finally tried Ikes for the first time. This place was not a disappointment. Sandwiches were great and unique. More so than the food however, we got some really good customer service here. When my wife saw there was onion rings served we assumed it was a side item. We ordered them and found they were actually in the sandwich. The staff on duty that day was kind enough to accommodate us even though we said we didn't need to be accommodated. They insisted on preparing a side of onion rings for my pregnant wife. And they did it without charge. Will definitely come back to Ikes in San Mateo again. Thanks for the great first experience!
