  Went with the kids to buy hamsters and asked lots of questions. Left with two syrian hamsters, Kaytee cage and the necessary things. We had read Syrians could not be kept together but they told us they'd be okay together since they had been in the same cage since birth. Four weeks later, we had to go back and buy two 20 gal tanks, another food bowl, wheel, house and toys. They matured and started biting each other. Lesson learned is to do your own research and stick to it, no matter what. We had great customer service but were given the wrong information and ended up spending over $60 on a cage we couldn't use.
